Module 5. Unit 5.

Monologue:

What do you usually do in your free time? What are your hobbies/interests? Have you got much free time?

 

Dialogue:

Student 1:  you are making plans for Easter Holidays. You would like to go to a ski resort.  Give reasons for it and try to convince your partner.  You should get to an agreement.

Student 2:  you are making plans for Easter Holidays. You would like to go to the beach.  Give reasons for it and try to convince your partner.  You should get to an agreement.

Module 2. Unit 7

Monologue:

How important is money for you? Can money buy happiness? What do you usually use your money for?

 

Dialogue:

Student 1:   You think your family spend too much money monthly and you consider you should save some money for the future.  You want to make your husband/wife aware of this.  Try to get to an agreement.

Student 2:  Your husband/wife thinks that your family spend too much money every month, but you think that you earn enough money to afford your way of living and see no need to save for the future. Try to get to an agreement.

Module 2. Unit 6.

Monologues:

Prepare and deliver a monologue about your shopping habits.  How often do you go shopping? When and where and what kind of articles do you usually buy when you go shoopping?

Dialogues.

A. You and your friend need to buy clothes.  You prefer to go to a big shopping mall.

B. You and your friend need to buy clothes. You prefer to go to small shops in the city centre.

Try to get to an agreement.

Module 5. Unit 3.

 A.  Monologue:

How do you imagine the future?  Will it be better or worse than nowadays?  How do you imagine yourt life in ten year´s time?  What kind of technological advances do you imagine? What about the environment?

B.  Dialogue.

Student A.  You and your boyfriend/girlfriend have been living together for a year and you think it is time to talk about getting married. Give arguments to support your point of view.  Try to get to an agrrement.

Módulo 5 (2ª curso IES Velázquez) Unit 2.

Monologue:

Talk about how important is the advance of science in nowadays society. What improvements do you think will take place in the future in fields like communication, transport, medicine. etc.

Dialogue:

Student 1:  you think that the world in the future will be worse than now, as some problems, like global warming, pollution and deforestation will get worse. Tell your friend about it.

Student2:  you think that the world in the future will be much better than now, as science will find a solution to most of the world’s problems.  Tell your friend about it.
